AWS DeepRacer is the fastest way to get rolling with machine learning. Developers of all skill levels (including those with no prior machine learning experience) can get hands-on with AWS DeepRacer by learning how to train reinforcement learning models in a cloud-based 3D racing simulator. Attend a session to get started, then test your skills by competing for prizes and glory in an exciting autonomous car racing experience throughout re:Invent!
Welcome to the world’s first global autonomous racing league, driven by machine learning. Developers of all skill levels can compete in virtual races during re:Invent for a chance to win prizes and glory! Tune in to AWS DeepRacer TV throughout re:Invent to catch the championship action.
Get hands-on with AWS DeepRacer, including exciting announcements and enhancements coming to the league in 2021. Learn about the basics of machine learning and reinforcement learning (a machine learning technique ideal for autonomous driving). In this session, you can build a reinforcement learning model and submit that model to the AWS DeepRacer League for a chance to win prizes and glory.
Make your way from the middle of the pack to the top of the AWS DeepRacer podium! This session extends your machine learning skills by exploring how human analysis of reinforcement learning through logs will improve your performance through trend identification and optimization to better prepare for new racing divisions coming to the league in 2021.
Complete the final lap on your machine learning journey by demystifying the underlying architecture of AWS DeepRacer using Amazon SageMaker, AWS RoboMaker, and Amazon Kinesis Video Streams. Dive into SageMaker notebooks to learn how others have applied the skills acquired through AWS DeepRacer to real-world use cases and how you can apply your reinforcement learning models to relevant use cases.
112 of the world’s fastest developers converge at re:Invent to compete for the Championship Cup. Tune in to the AWS DeepRacer official Twitch Channel in week 1 to catch the live racing action of the knockout rounds, then follow the journey of the top racers on their quest for the title in our special 3 part AWS DeepRacer TV series starting 12/7, streaming in the DeepRacer re:Invent track page.
To participate in the AWS DeepRacer League, head to awsdeepracerleague.com and log in to the console to race online.
To qualify for the championships, you must win a qualifying race during the AWS DeepRacer League regular season. There are three opportunities remaining to qualify to advance in October via the AWS DeepRacer League Virtual Circuit. Login to the console to submit a model for your chance to advance to the championships. Check back for updates regarding additional opportunities for re:Invent registrants to qualify in November.
Yes! There will be multiple opportunities for developers of all skill levels to compete and win with AWS DeepRacer at re:Invent, including the AWS DeepRacer League re:Invent Open and special live virtual races. Check back for a complete race schedule and additional details.
During re:Invent, tune in to AWS DeepRacer TV, starting on December 7, to follow the fastest developers in the world as they compete for the 2020 AWS DeepRacer League Championship Cup. Check back for a complete race viewing schedule and additional details.
No, anyone can compete in open racing, but only those that earn a spot in the AWS DeepRacer League will qualify to compete in the AWS DeepRacer Championships. If you’re new to machine learning, or new to AWS DeepRacer, we recommend attending the “Get rolling with machine learning on AWS DeepRacer” session to help you get started training a model to submit to a race. You can also experiment with one of the sample models provided in the AWS DeepRacer console to get on the track quickly and iterate from there.
