Meeting and reception space is available through Bookable Meeting Space (BMS) Monday, November 29 – Thursday, December 2 from 8:00AM – 9:00PM at the Encore Hotel. You can book meeting space in either 2-hour or 4-hour blocks, and reception space in 4-hour blocks. In addition to the room price, enhanced audio-visual equipment, meeting supplies, and catering can be added to your booking at additional costs.

Registration for re:Invent is now open. Please visit the Register page, and choose the in person or virtual experience. Please click New Registration to start the registration process. A valid credit card is required to purchase a conference pass, or you can choose to pay with Amazon Pay or your AWS account. You must be 18 years or older to register for re:Invent.
The full conference pass gives you access to all keynotes and sessions, labs, the Expo, and the re:Play party, as well as transportation and meals on main conference days.
No. A full conference pass must be purchased.
Yes. Email email@example.com with your AWS account ID, the number of passes you want to purchase, and any discount codes that you have.
You can purchase up to 75 passes at a time by selecting the group ticket option when you register.
After purchasing a group pass, you will receive a confirmation email that includes a unique registration code. This code will be valid for all group-purchased passes and may be used multiple times until all your passes are redeemed.
If you don’t have an AWS account, enter the code in the Group Registration field. The registration package will automatically populate, and you will need to click out of the box to show the pass is applied. Complete the registration form and click Submit.
If you have an AWS account, sign into your attendee portal. Once signed in, click Registration Information and then Passes. Select Purchase Passes, enter the registration code into the field, and click out of the box to view changes, and then submit the registration.

If AWS receives your cancellation notice by October 29, 2021, you will be issued a full refund of your registration fees via the original payment method.
If AWS receives your cancellation notice between October 30, 2021, and November 26, 2021, AWS will issue you a 50% refund of your registration fees via the original payment method.
If, due to COVID-19, government policies restrict your travel to the United States, AWS will issue you a full refund of your registration fees via the original payment method until November 26, 2021.
If AWS receives your cancellation notice after November 26, 2021, you will not be eligible for a refund.

Yes. You must be at least 18 years of age as of November 29, 2021, and any guests you bring to the re:Play party must also be at least 18 years of age as of November 29, 2021.

Once you are registered for re:Invent, you will automatically have access to the discounted conference rates within the attendee portal. After completing registration, click Make a Hotel Reservation, or log back in to your registration account to make a reservation at any time.
Yes. You can access exclusive, discounted rates at select hotels after you are registered. The only way to access the re:Invent rates is by booking through the attendee portal.
You can make changes to your hotel reservation by logging in to your registration account and updating your reservation as needed. You cannot make changes by reaching out to the hotel directly.
No. Each registered conference attendee can only make one hotel reservation within the re:Invent hotel blocks. All reservations must be made through the individual attendee’s registration account.
Yes. You are required to provide a credit card when booking a hotel reservation. Your card will be charged in early November by the hotel directly.
Hotel availability is constantly changing as attendees adjust and cancel their reservations, so your preferred hotel may become available. Check regularly to see what is available through your registration account. We also suggest booking your hotel reservation early, before the most popular hotels fill.
Due to gaming regulations, you must be over 21 years old to stay in the re:Invent campus hotels. If you are 18 to 20 years old and would like to attend re:Invent, please reach out to email@example.com, and we will assist in finding other accommodation options nearby. Alternatively, you can stay at any hotel if you are checking in with someone who is 21 or over.

Yes. All badge holders at re:Invent will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend re:Invent in person this year.
Fully vaccinated is defined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as 2 weeks after a second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer, Moderna, or AstraZeneca vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine. If you plan to check in on the first day of re:Invent badge pick-up, you need to receive your second dose in a 2-dose series, or single-dose vaccine no later than November 14, 2021.
Bring record of your COVID-19 vaccination status to onsite check-in to receive your re:Invent badge. Acceptable records include your physical COVID-19 vaccination/immunization card, a photo of the front and back of your vaccination/immunization card, or a digital verification from a smartphone application. The name on your vaccination record must match your government issued ID.

Yes. Masks are required for everyone at re:Invent. A mask is defined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as two or more layers of washable, breathable fabric used to completely cover your nose and mouth and fit snugly against the sides of the face. Attendees may provide their own mask that complies with this guidance, or use a mask provided by re:Invent. Face shields, bandannas, and masks with ventilation will not be allowed. Masks may be removed while eating and drinking.
Yes. Conference meals will be offered. We will follow all local and venue guidelines for service.

No. You will not be required to maintain 6-foot (2 meter) distancing during the event.
If you test positive for COVID-19, report your diagnosis to the local health authority. If a positive COVID-19 diagnosis is disclosed to AWS, contact tracing measures will be completed in partnership with health authorities.
Local testing resources can be accessed via the state of Nevada’s website. Testing locations located in the Las Vegas strip area (S. Las Vegas Blvd) will be closest to the re:Invent venues. Please note, to attend re:Invent in person, a negative COVID-19 test will not be accepted as a substitution for being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Yes! Assistance is available for attendees needing American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, communication access real-time translation (CART), and/or illustrative visual guides. Accessible seating is a space within each lecture-style content room designed to host wheelchairs, CART, ASL, and other accessibility services. For interactive sessions such as chalk talks, workshops, and builders’ sessions, our in-room re:Invent ambassadors in re:Invent shirts can assist with accessible seating requests; these rooms have more flexible seating arrangements.
Assistive listening headsets are available in all session rooms and during the keynote. Headsets do not need to be arranged in advance and should be picked up from the tech table at the back of the session room or keynote hall. Please return your headsets at the end of each session.
Service animals are welcome at re:Invent. There are designated relief areas for service and support animals on the property.
For guest hotel rooms, there are specific guidelines around service and support animals at each hotel property. Please connect directly with your hotel’s reservation desk or concierge for more information.
A reflection room, or quiet room, is available at the event and can be used when needed during general conference hours.
