What is AWS re:Invent?
AWS re:Invent is a learning conference hosted by AWS for the global cloud computing community. The in-person event features keynote announcements, training and certification opportunities, access to 2,000+ technical sessions, the Expo, after-hours events, and so much more. -
When and where will re:Invent take place?
AWS re:Invent will take place November 27 through December 1, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada, across multiple venues. Explore the Campus page for more information on venues, hotels, and transportation. -
Who should attend re:Invent?
The event is ideal for people who want to transform their business with the cloud, hear the latest innovations with AWS and explore new technology, and anyone who wishes to level up their cloud-computing skills to advance their career. -
Will there be a virtual component of re:Invent?
Yes. There will be a virtual component for re:Invent 2023. The virtual re:Invent will include a livestream of keynotes and innovation talks, access to breakout sessions, and more. For more information or to register for the virtual re:Invent, visit the Register page. -
Will there be a mobile app for re:Invent?
Yes. The AWS Events mobile app is available for both iPhone and Android. While the app is available now for download, re:Invent 2023 won't be accessible on it until late summer. -
How can I connect with other attendees at re:Invent?

Are COVID-19 measures currently being implemented at re:Invent?
No. We will not require use of a face covering, proof of vaccination against COVID-19, or a negative COVID-19 test result to attend re:Invent. -
What is the AWS Code of Conduct?

Registration

What is the cost of a conference pass?
An in-person conference pass is $2,099 (USD), and gives you access to the keynotes, sessions, labs, the Expo, re:Play, and other event activities, as well as transportation and meals on main conference days. Registration for virtual re:Invent is free. -
Is there an age requirement to attend re:Invent?
Yes. All attendees must be at least 18 years of age by the day they pick up their conference badge at the event. -
Are there day passes or Expo-only passes available?
No. A full conference pass must be purchased to attend re:Invent. -
Do I need to be registered to attend the conference?
Yes. You need to be registered for the conference in order to attend any event sessions or functions. A valid conference badge and lanyard are required when in the designated event spaces. -
How do I register for re:Invent?
Register now to join us in Las Vegas for re:Invent 2023. If you are unable to attend in person, you can also sign up for free livestream access here. If you have not yet registered for an AWS event in 2023, please select Create account to begin your registration. Note that accounts are not carried over from previous years, so even if you had an account for re:Invent 2022, you will need to create a new one for 2023. -
How do I register for a bootcamp?
In 2023, bootcamps are included in your re:Invent ticket price and not at an additional cost. You can reserve your spot for a bootcamp once reserve seating is opened. -
What are group passes?
Group passes provide an easy way for you to purchase two or more passes in a single purchase. They do not provide a group discount or additional conference perks unless paired with the Group Package Offer. Group packages offer volume-based incentives and unique benefits for group pass purchases beginning at a minimum of 10 passes, when billed to your AWS account. Please reach out to our customer support team for additional details. You will need to purchase a group pass for each person attending. -
How do I purchase group passes?
During registration, you’ll see the option to purchase group passes. If you are purchasing group passes and plan to attend the event, select Assign a pass to myself during pass selection. Upon completing the group pass purchase, your group codes will be available in the Attendee portal under Event passes > Group passes. This code can be distributed to each person attending the event through your attendee portal or directly. Each person must register and book a hotel room through their own account.
To purchase group passes by billing to your AWS account or to take advantage of the Group Package Offer, please reach out to customer support.

Interested in Group Packages?
Group packages sales offer volume-based incentives and unique benefits for group pass purchases beginning at a minimum of 10 passes. Please reach out to our customer support team for additional details. Terms and conditions apply. -
How can I purchase a re:Play party guest pass?
After you’ve completed registration, you can purchase a re:Play guest pass through your attendee portal by navigating to Event passes > My pass > Purchase additional passes. If you are already registered for re:Invent, you do not need to purchase a re:Play party pass for yourself, it is included in your registration. -
What is your cancellation policy for conference registration?
If AWS receives your cancellation notice by October 13, 2023, you will be issued a full refund of your registration fees via the original payment method.
If AWS receives your cancellation notice between October 14, 2023, and November 24, 2023, AWS will issue you a 50% refund of your registration fees via the original payment method.
If AWS receives your cancellation notice after November 25, 2023, you will not be eligible for a refund.
Event registrations may be transferred to another participant upon approval by AWS at its sole discretion. To request a transfer of your event registration, contact us at awsreinvent-support@amazon.com. -
How do I update my registration information?
Email customer support at awsreinvent-support@amazon.com to request an update to the information you entered during registration, including your legal name or the name that will appear on your badge. Note that email addresses cannot be changed after registration is complete. -
Where can I access my receipt for the event?
Resend your receipt or confirmation email at any time by logging unto your attendee portal and selecting Event passes.

I can no longer attend. How do I transfer my event registration to someone else?
Contact us at awsreinvent-support@amazon.com to transfer your registration. Note that we are not able to transfer hotel reservations or sessions that you've favorited/reserved. Transfers are approved by AWS at its sole discretion.
Livestream

Where can I register for the re:Invent livestream?
Visit the livestream registration page to get free online access to key content from this year's event. -
Does it cost anything to register for the livestream?
No. Registration for the livestream is free. -
What content will be available on the livestream?
Livestream attendees can watch keynotes, key sessions from AWS leaders, and breakout sessions will be released to watch on demand throughout the week. -
Where can I see the agenda for the re:Invent livestream?
The agenda for the AWS re:Invent livestream will be available closer to the event. -
Who do I contact if I have registration issues?

How is AWS creating an accessible re:Invent livestream experience?

When will the session catalog be available?
The session catalog is now available. You can access the catalog here. -
Will there be reserved seating?
Yes. Select content types will be included in reserved seating. Reserved seating will open this fall. -
In what venues will content be available?
Content will be delivered across six venues on the Las Vegas strip: The Venetian, Wynn, Encore, Caesars Forum, MGM Grand, and Mandalay Bay. -
Can I attend sessions at multiple venues?
Yes. Please note the venue your session will take place and plan for proper travel time between venues. -
Will there be certification exams at re:Invent?
There won’t be certification exams at re:Invent, but registered attendees can access a 50% discount code toward an AWS official Certification exam. After registering, log into your attendee portal and select the More information menu to access your code and see additional details. -
How do I register for a bootcamp?

Accessibility and Inclusion

What accessibility services will be available?
We want re:Invent to be accessible for everyone. The following services will be available at the conference for all attendees:
- Assistive listening
- Translations for keynote and innovation talks (Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, and Spanish [LATAM])
- Dispersed and designated seating
- Lactation room
- Reflection room
- All-gender restrooms
- Accessible transportation
Additional services are available by advanced request:
- ASL (American Sign Language)
- CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation)
- VI (Visual interpretation)
- Mobility device rental
- Halal meals
- Kosher meals
To request any of these services or inquire about a service you don't see listed, including neuroinclusion and sensory need requests, contact customer support.

How can I connect to services at the event?
An accessibility concierge will be available by phone or text at each content venue. Phone numbers will be available closer to the event. If you will need any assistance onsite, please reach out to customer support at awsreinvent-support@amazon.com to request services or accommodations. -
Will you have kosher and halal meals available?
Yes. Halal and kosher meals will be available while supplies last. Please contact awsreinvent-support@amazon.com to pre-order your meal.

Are you offering accessible transportation?
Yes. Attendees can make arrangements at least 1 hour prior to their pickup. The phone number will be available prior to the event.
Hotels

Are there discounted hotel rates for attendees?
Yes. You will be able to access exclusive discounted rates at our select hotels after registration has opened. The discount will be automatically reflected when you book one of our select hotels through your attendee portal; no code is needed. -
How can I book a room at one of the re:Invent campus hotels?
After completing registration, select Book or manage hotel, or log back into your attendee portal to make a reservation at any time. -
Is there a deposit due to make a hotel reservation?
Yes. You are required to provide a credit card when booking a hotel reservation. Your card will be charged directly by the hotel at the time of booking. -
When will I receive a confirmation of my hotel reservation?
You will receive a confirmation email after completing your hotel reservation. -
How do I make changes to my reservation?
You can make changes to your hotel reservation through your attendee portal by selecting Book or manage hotel until early November. To see other available hotels, please contact support at awsreinvent-support@amazon.com. -
What is the cancellation policy for the hotel reservation?
All reservations made through the re:Invent block follow the hotel cancellation policies. Please contact the hotel directly to inquire about their cancellation policy.

I am under 21. Can I still stay at a re:Invent campus hotel?
Due to gaming regulations, you must be at least 21 years old to make a reservation at the re:Invent campus hotels. If you are 18 to 20 years old and would like to attend re:Invent, please reach out to awsreinvent-support@amazon.com, and we will assist in finding other accommodation options nearby. Alternatively, you can stay at any hotel if you are checking in with someone who is 21 or over.
Transportation

Will there be transportation provided around the re:Invent campus?
Yes. Campus shuttles travel between all properties except between the Encore/Wynn and The Venetian and between Caesars Forum and The Venetian, for which walking routes are offered.
Badge-holders can also take the Las Vegas Monorail for free from the Flamingo, Harrah’s/LINQ, or MGM Grand stations by showing their badge to the re:Invent ambassador at the entrance.
Shuttles run continuously around the campus during event hours. More details will be available closer to the event. -
Are you offering accessible transportation?
Yes. Attendees can make arrangements at least 1 hour prior to their pickup. The phone number will be available prior to the event. -
Do I need to be registered to ride the conference shuttles?
Yes. You must have a valid conference badge in order to ride the conference shuttles.
