Who should attend AWS re:Invent?

AWS re:Invent is a learning conference that offers 3 days of technical content so attendees can dive deeper into the AWS cloud computing platform. The event is ideal for developers, architects, and technical decision makers. The event will also attract AWS partners, press, and analysts interested in cloud computing. The majority of the conference content is focused on technical deep dives for existing AWS customers, but there is also content covering new service announcements, overviews of existing services, and content for executive decision makers.

How can I register?

Registration for AWS re:Invent opens June 11 at 9:00AM PDT. Click "Register" in the navigation above to start the registration process. A valid credit card is required to purchase a conference pass.

What is the price of registration?

The registration fee for a full conference pass is $1,299. Technical Bootcamps cost a separate fee of $300 or $600. A valid credit card is required to complete registration. Click "Register" in the navigation above to start the registration process.

What is included in the full conference pass?

The full conference pass gives you access to the following: all Keynotes and Sessions, Expo Hall, Developer Lounge, Welcome Reception, re:Play Party, as well as breakfast, lunch, and snacks on main conference days.

I received a discount promotion code, how do I apply it to my registration?

Click the "Register" button in the navigation above. On the first step, enter your code in the registration code box. The discount price will be deducted from your total and show up on the Payment Summary page.

Can I purchase multiple tickets and have them invoiced to my AWS account?

How can I sign up for a Training Bootcamp if I am already registered?

If you are already registered for AWS re:Invent and would like to sign up for a Training Bootcamp, login to your re:Invent account with the credentials you created during registration and click on "Purchase Additional Registration Items." You will need a valid credit card to complete your registration.

How do I redeem my Group Passes?

After you purchase a Group Pass you will receive a confirmation email with a unique registration code. This code will be valid for all of the Group Passes you have purchased and may be used multiple times until all your passes have been redeemed (For example, if you purchased 10 passes the registration code will be valid for 10 uses). Share this code with your colleagues and ask them to register here. After completing the “Personal Information” page, registrants will be taken to the “Events Selection” page where they will be able to input the registration code. The code applied will remove any costs associated with the purchase of a full conference pass.

Can I get a receipt of my registration?

Upon completing the online registration process, you will be emailed a confirmation email with payment receipt details from Please check your junk mail folder. How do I update my registration information or my nametag?

To view or make changes to your registration details, such as name, title, company or email address log into your account on this page then click through to the “Account Settings” section. In there you will be able to edit all of your personal information.

What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel your event registration by sending written notice to AWS by email to If AWS receives your cancellation notice by 12:00 noon (PDT), October 1, 2014, AWS will issue you a full refund of registration fees, minus a cancellation fee, via the original payment method. The fee for cancelling an Event registration is $100. The fee for cancelling a Bootcamp registration is $50. Registration cancellations received by AWS after 12:00 noon (PDT), October 1, 2014 will not be eligible for a refund. What transportation options are available?

All conference activities are happening at the Venetian and Palazzo hotels (Sands Expo Hall) and the hotels are adjacent and centrally located on the Las Vegas Strip. From the McCarran International Airport, the easiest way to get to the hotel is using a taxi cab or a hotel shuttle. How should I convince my boss?

Where is the conference agenda?

You can review the all-up event agenda here. The full session catalog will go live in July, with new sessions added frequently.

Can I sign up for sessions I want to attend?

When we finalize the full agenda, we will have a Session Builder available for you to organize the sessions you want to attend and add to your calendar. We will send out an email when this functionality is available. You will be able to log into it by using your email address and password created at registration.

Will I need to register myself for each breakout session?

Our sessions will be filled on a first come first serve basis when you are onsite. There will be no need to pre-register but we would recommend taking advantage of the scheduling tools on both the mobile app and the AWS re:Invent website to help organize your days.

Do you accept submissions for speakers/session ideas?

The AWS re:Invent Call for Content is now closed. Submissions were being accepted in May and June. Notifications for accepted/declined sessions were sent out August 15. If you did not receive notification about your submission, please contact

Are you streaming the keynotes or any sessions?

We will live stream the keynotes. The keynote live stream is free and a separate registration will be available at least one month prior to the conference.

Will you be providing translation services?

We will be providing on-site translation services in Chinese and Japanese for the keynotes.

Can I bring a guest to the after hours activities?

Yes, we have a limited number of passes available for the re:Play Party on Thursday evening. You can purchase this during the registration process. Guest passes for the party are $150.

What is the AWS re:Invent Code of Conduct?

AWS expects all re:Invent participants (attendees, staff, speakers, sponsors, etc.) to behave in such a way as to create a safe, supportive learning environment while at the conference and any conference-related events. AWS will not tolerate any form of harassment or offensive speech or behavior, including relating to race, gender, sexual orientation, religion or disability. Participants engaging in behavior deemed by AWS as discriminatory or offensive will be asked to leave the conference or related event immediately. Anyone witnessing such behavior is encouraged to contact an AWS staff member so direct action can be taken.
