Breakout Sessions

These one-hour breakout sessions are led by AWS subject-matter experts and/or top AWS customers. These sessions are an informative mixture of presentations, demonstrations, and guest speakers. Choose from a specific track tailored to your learning needs: business, segment and four technical tracks (SI, ISV, 300-level, 400-level).

The business track is ideal for business management, marketing or partner executives. The sessions will cover topics such as the APN Journey, partner differentiation, how to engage with AWS, and specific tools and resources for go-to-market activites.

The segment track will be targeted at specific solutions and verticals. Sessions will include information on verticals and segments such as healthcare, financial services and media, security, storage, migration, IOT and Big Data.

Four technical tracks are available.

The SI technical track will contain specific material for partners that are Systems Integrators. Topics include support for Windows, tips for SAP customers, container powered migrations, and the secret to SaaS.

The ISV technical track will cover AWS Marketplace and AWS Quickstart, tips on passing technical validations and continual cost optimization and hybrid architecture design.

The 300-level technical track will offer Blockchain on AWS, IOT, data privacy and extending Hadoop and Spark to the AWS Cloud.

The 400-level technical track will address EC2 networking and high availability, Amazon Aurora, managing sensitive data in the cloud and building complex serverless applications.

Chalk Talks

Chalk talks take a deep dive into AWS technical details. Global Partner Summit Chalk Talks will be led by AWS technical engineering teams. Attend these interactive AWS technical sessions with 12 topics to choose from which are available at multiple times to fit your schedule.
