Who should attend AWS re:Invent?

AWS re:Invent is the Amazon Web Services annual user conference. The event features keynote announcements, training and certification opportunities, over 250 technical sessions, a partner expo, after hours activities, and more. The event is ideal for developers and engineers, system administrators, systems architects, and technical decision makers.

How can I register?

Registration is now closed. However, if you have a registration code that you need to use, or you need to adjust your registration, please login here. You can log in on this site to manage or update your existing registration.

What is included in the full conference pass?

The full conference pass gives you access to the following: all keynotes and sessions, Hands-on Labs, access to re:Invent Central (expo hall) and Developer Lounge. Access to the Welcome Reception, Pub Crawl, re:Play Party, as well as breakfast, lunch, and snacks on main conference days.

I received a discount promotion code, how do I apply it to my registration?

If you have a registration code that you need to use, please login here. You can log in on this site to manage or update your existing registration.

Can I purchase multiple tickets and have them invoiced to my AWS account?

Yes, please email awsreinvent-support@amazon.com with your AWS account ID and the number of passes you wish to purchase. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

How can I sign up for a Training Bootcamp if I am already registered?

Login to your AWS re:Invent account with the credentials you created during registration and click on "Purchase Additional Registration Items." You will need a valid credit card to complete your registration. Training Bootcamps are limited, so please register early.

How do I purchase multiple tickets?

You can purchase multiple tickets by selecting the group ticket option during registration. You can purchase up to 10 passes at a time.

How do I redeem my Group Passes?

After you purchase a Group Pass you will receive a confirmation email with a unique registration code. This code will be valid for all of the Group Passes you have purchased and may be used multiple times until all your passes have been redeemed (For example, if you purchased 10 passes the registration code will be valid for 10 uses). Share this code with your colleagues and ask them to register here. After completing the “Personal Information” page, registrants will be taken to the “Events Selection” page where they will be able to input the registration code. The code applied will remove any costs associated with the purchase of a full conference pass.

Can I get a receipt of my registration?

Upon completing the online registration process, you will be sent a confirmation email with payment receipt details from noreply@awsevents.com. Please check your junk mail folder. Charges will appear on your credit card statement as AMZ*AWS re:Invent. If you do not receive the confirmation email, contact us for a copy at awsreinvent-support@amazon.com.

How do I update my registration information or my name badge?

To view or make changes to your registration details, such as name, title, company or email address, login to your account on this page. Click through to the “Account Settings” section, where you will be able to edit all of your personal information.

What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel your event registration by sending written notice to AWS by email to awsreinvent-support@amazon.com. If AWS receives your cancellation notice by 12:00 noon (PST), September 1, 2015, AWS will issue you a full refund of registration fees, minus a cancellation fee, via the original payment method. The cancellation fee for a full conference pass is $100. The cancellation fee for Certifications or Bootcamps is $50. Registration cancellations received by AWS after 12:00 noon (PST), September 1, 2015 will not be eligible for a refund. Subject to approval by AWS in its sole discretion, event registrations may be transferred to another participant by contacting us at awsreinvent-support@amazon.com.

Event Details

Where is the conference agenda?

You can review the all-up event agenda here. The current Session Catalog is linked here. New sessions are added weekly.

Can I sign up for sessions I want to attend?

All sessions are first come first served, but we advise you to plan your event calendar in advance. When we finalize the full agenda in September, you will be able to create your personal conference calendar using our Session Builder. We will send out an email when this functionality is available. You will be able to log in using your email address and password created at registration, add sessions to your calendar, and export your calendar to Outlook or iCal.

Will I need to register myself for each breakout session?

Our sessions will be filled on a first come first serve basis when you are onsite. There will be no need to pre-register for breakout sessions, but we would recommend taking advantage of the scheduling tools on both the mobile app and the AWS re:Invent website to help organize your days. The scheduling features will go online in the month prior to the AWS re:Invent.

Will you be providing translation services?

We will be providing onsite translation services in Chinese and Japanese for the keynotes.

Can I bring a guest to the after hours activities?

Yes, we have a limited number of passes available for the re:Play Party on October 8, 8:00pm-12:00am. You can purchase this during the registration process. Guest passes for the party are $150 each.

What is the AWS re:Invent Code of Conduct?

AWS expects all re:Invent participants (attendees, staff, speakers, sponsors, etc.) to behave in such a way as to create a safe, supportive learning environment while at the conference and any conference-related events. AWS will not tolerate any form of harassment or offensive speech or behavior, including any relating to race, gender, sexual orientation, religion or disability. Participants engaging in behavior deemed by AWS as discriminatory or offensive will be asked to leave the conference or related event immediately. Anyone witnessing such behavior is encouraged to contact an AWS staff member so direct action can be taken.

When and where can I pick up my conference badge?

You can pick up your conference badge from Registration on Level 2 of the Sands Expo Convention Center during the following hours:
Monday: 7am to 5pm
Tuesday: 7am to 7pm
Wednesday: 7am to 7pm
Thursday: 7am to 9pm
Friday: 7am to 2pm


Do you accept submissions for speakers/session ideas?

The open Call for Presentations was open May 12 through June 15. Final accept/decline messages are schedule to be sent by July 28.

Are you streaming the keynotes or any sessions?

We will live stream the keynotes on October 7 (8:30am-10:30am PT) and 8, (9:00am-10:30am PT). The keynote live stream is free to everyone and a separate registration will be available a few weeks prior to the conference.

What are the live stream technical requirements?

To view the livestream on your desktop or laptop computer, you will need to have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed. Supported desktop/laptop browsers include IE9+, Safari 6+, Chrome 38+ , and Firefox 32+/ESR 31+. To view the livestream on your mobile device, you will need Chrome Browser running on Android 4.4+, or Mobile Safari running on iOS 8+. The livestream is designed to adapt to your connection speed automatically, but we recommend at least downstream connection speed of at least 700Kbps. Viewers can manually select a higher (up to 2.5Mbps for HD) or lower (198Kbps for low) video quality on the player depending on the connection speed.
